About

I’m originally from Atlanta, GA (well, technically Decatur). I have always loved travelling, so as soon as I finished my PhD, I moved across the pond to London to do a postdoc at Imperial College London. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I relocated to Amsterdam and joined the Dutch National Institute of Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) as an infectious disease modeler. I continue to find any excuse to hop on a plane, train, or automobile and explore. In my free time, I love cooking, running, taking a class at the gym, perfecting my homemade flat white, and, of course, spending time with my wife and puppy.

I am also an organizer of the Amsterdam chapter of R-Ladies.
